Hi, I’m Karla!
I’m a communications professional and graphic designer based in Kitchener, Ontario. I have more than seven years of experience working with marketing, operations, sales and leadership teams across the retail, technology, publishing and creative industries.
My strength is turning detailed or complex information into communication materials that are clear, useful and visually engaging. Throughout my career, I have created internal communications, operational guides, executive presentations, campaigns, branding materials, packaging and digital content.
I’m a calm, thoughtful and detail-oriented person. I like to understand the purpose behind every project, organize the information carefully and find a visual solution that supports the message. I learn quickly, adapt well to new tools and processes, and enjoy working with people from different areas of an organization.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, cycling, exercise and photography. These activities help me stay curious, observant and balanced, qualities that also influence the way I approach creative work.
I believe good design should do more than look attractive. It should make information easier to understand, help people take action and support the goals of an organization.
